Turtle Mist Farm was started by Bob and Ginger Sykes, 13 years ago, on a 60 acre property in Franklinton, NC. Our goal for the farm is to teach children where the food they eat comes from.  That food does not originate in the grocery store.  

We are primarily meat farmers and our animals are raised without the use of hormones and antibiotics.  We raise hair sheep, pastured Gelbvieh beef cattle, Bourbon Red Turkeys, Muscovy Ducks, free-range laying hens, Toulouse geese, quail and Berkshire, Ossabaw, Mangalista and Meishan Hogs.

We also have a small market garden where we grow a variety of unique vegetables.
