Master Gardener  Volunteers of Wake County are a team of dedicated and certified individuals who use research-based information to help our fellow residents improve their home gardens and landscapes.

As guests of Wake Forest Farmers’ Market, we set up our information/education booth from 9:00 am  to 12:00 noon every Saturday from the first Saturday in April to the last Saturday in September.

We answer homeowner questions on lawns, plant pests, vegetable gardening,  and much more.   We have NCDA soil test kits to pass out as well as being able to pass out internet links to more in depth reading on gardening topics.

See you Saturday, April 15, 2023 @ Forest Fest!

Master Gardener Volunteers  will have wildflower kits to assemble to  take home to  start a wildflower garden for attracting bees and other pollinators. We will also have NC Department of Agriculture soil test kits to check on your lawn or garden’s soil health.
